The Board of the Macrobiotic Foundation would like to share with all of you it's enthusiasm for the coming year. After recovering from the shock last year of the loss of our mentor and dear friend Harriet McNear, we are now ready to resume the responsibility of "filling some very big shoes."
We, Rocky Price and Robyn Martin, were elected as the new co-presidents of the Foundation earlier this year by the Macrobiotic Foundation Board members. It is our joy and delight to announce to all of you that we have planned some very exciting, informative and fun events for the coming year.
There will be weekend programs with visiting guest instructors, our good ol' potluck dinners (very popular!), ongoing study groups, and of course, many cooking classes at Harriet's Kitchen. We are also eager to hear your ideas, comments, and interests for consideration in the coming year. It is for you, our general membership, to whom we wish to cater and support. It is very important that your ideas are heard, and that you needs are addressed. We have a vision of how our group at large should function and grow. We hope that everyone will participate in as many of the activities and programs as possible. Let's get that Macro energy going!
